About Us

We believe as toddlers become more able and independent, we react with a focus on self-managed activities / play, such as dressing up, food testing / cooking and team games. Here at Early Learners we feel it is essential for a child to grow and develop their skills. `Messy` play, hide and seek and memory games in the nursery are also introduced.  Our 2 year old's benefit from having their own playground area full of resources and equipment to challenge and extend their learning.  All activities are safely managed and supervised.

We have a large focus on children learning through their actions. Our aim is to prepare children with the knowledge and skills for what comes next. This is so important in early years because what children learn in those vital first years of life will stay with them forever.

We have trained and hired a new experienced and qualified team.  We want to offer children opportunities to experiment with new objects and activities like, hats, bags and costumes. We use giant toys and objects to encourage imagination and creativity. During play-times we will enjoy music, our new large climbing frame, picture books and rhyme time helping to develop listening skills, and sound recognition.  We offer 2 year old funded 15 & 30 hour educational places.

& Childcare Funding

What you need to know?

Working parents may be able to get funded childcare for a child aged 9 months to 4 years old. If your child is:

  • 9 months to 2 years old, you can get 15 hours per week of funded childcare

  • 3 to 4 years old, you can get 30 hours per week of funded childcare

All 3 and 4-year-olds in England are also entitled to 15 hours of funded early education and childcare per week for 38 weeks.  You may be able to get free childcare if you have a 2-year-old and get certain benefits.  Eligible children in England may claim 15 hours of funding, that's 570 free hours per year.

You may be able to get up to 30 hours funded childcare (1,140 hours per year, which you can choose how you take). The ‘30 hours childcare’ scheme is great news for eligible families, who could claim up to double the amount childcare they are currently entitled to.  This could take your funded childcare entitlement from 570 hours a year up to 1,140 hours a year.  If you’re eligible for the extra hours, you can simply sign up online to get a code to give to us your childcare provider to reserve your place. You’ll get the extra hours once the next term starts.

Here at Early Learners we stretch a child's entitlement (funding) over 12 months/ 52 week (instead of 38 weeks), this is to help spread the savings throughout the year.  Certain nurseries may offer term-time only sessions, however these are limited.
