Our Baby Room
About Us:
Early Learners in Widnes has been providing childcare for babies for nearly 40 years. Our Baby classroom has recently been fully refurbished and decorated with all new resources. We understand the importance of quality care and believe we have the best facilities, team and most of all experience within the Halton area.
Our babies are cared for by a passionate and committed team. In our baby room we designated a key-person to each parent who oversees the planning, care, play and learning opportunities to meet each child’s individual needs. We want to provide every baby with the opportunity to explore lots of different activities and learn as much as they can when they are in our care. Activities includes painting, heuristic play, sand, music and sensory activities.
We like to get to know our families and build a strong relationship, that why each child has a designated key person and our classroom teams are set. It's important that Babies are taken outside in the fresh air frequently. Our team are all qualified and experienced and are here to help you every step of the way. Rest assured every practitioner who works for Early Learners has paediatric first aid training. We offer taster sessions to help children settle and support the parents back to work.
We are proud of our learning environment

& Childcare Funding
What you need to know?
Working parents may be able to get funded childcare for a child aged 9 months to 4 years old. If your child is:
-
9 months to 2 years old, you can get 15 hours per week of funded childcare
-
3 to 4 years old, you can get 30 hours per week of funded childcare
All 3 and 4-year-olds in England are also entitled to 15 hours of funded early education and childcare per week for 38 weeks. You may be able to get free childcare if you have a 2-year-old and get certain benefits.
Eligible children in England may claim 15 hours of funding, that's 570 free hours per year. Here at Early Learners we spread this entitlement over 12 months (instead of 38 weeks), to help spread the savings throughout the year.
You may be able to get up to 30 hours free childcare (1,140 hours per year, which you can choose how you take). The ‘30 hours free childcare’ scheme is great news for eligible families, who could claim up to double the amount of free childcare they are currently entitled to. This could take your funded childcare entitlement from 570 hours a year up to 1,140 hours a year. If you’re eligible for the extra hours, you can simply sign up online to get a code to give to us your childcare provider to reserve your place. You’ll get the extra hours once the next term starts.
